Join us – Matthias Schwenteck, Robyn Dalzen, – 1-7 April 2020 for a week-long couples retreat at Hidden Paradise in the south of Spain. 2nd Edition. This will be a deep dive into exploring the path of conscious relating in truth, love, power and joy. ໑ About the Retreat ໑ This is an invitation for couples to join us for a profoundly intimate week-long retreat. In this retreat you will learn to communicate, touch and connect in a conscious and empowered way. Matt, Robyn, Buster and Rachel are facilitators, couples, and playmates who are passionate about relating and have been experimenting, exploring, discovering and living the depth of the materials covered in this retreat. This retreat will be a living lab to unravel unhealthy relationship conditioning that most of us carry and create a new blueprint for connection. In the presence of love, we will reflect and hold the worst and the best in one another, to such a degree that this will become more than a couples retreat. It’s a complete overhaul, a total paradigm shift. It is the context for how to set up your way of relating so that it becomes a spiritual path.

໑ About the Retreat ໑

This is an invitation for couples to join us for a profoundly intimate week-long retreat.

In this retreat, you will experience the potential of creating a partnership that is not just designed to function well, but to heal and become the spiritual container that will lead to more love, freedom and growth both in your relationship and your life.

This will be an embodied experience that you’ll literally feel in your nervous system. We’ll be reactivating a dormant part of the nervous system that is based on social engagement and safety. When we engage this part of the nervous system, we lay the foundation for deeper connection, more resilience, health and wellbeing.

Relationships are often based on unspoken, or telepathic agreements, which lead to assumptions and expectations. Sooner or later, we find ourselves misaligned with our own truth, disappointed by our partner, or burned out; we make ourselves the victim and our partner the perpetrator.

This is the path of two people standing in power relating with what is true for you in every single moment in presence, mindfulness, understanding and curiosity.

Then having the ability to express not just thoughts but feelings, sensations and movement impulses – moment by moment – and finding the way back to the here and now, instead of just a story of the horrible past and a wish for a better future.

In this retreat we are learning to hold space for one another by breaking apart leading versus following, holding versus being held, giving versus receiving. Here we are beginning to work with how to structure your interactions so that they serve a really clear purpose of healing and supporting one another to expand.

Together, we are learning to surrender into the unknown of every single moment.

We’ll share tools that will help you to bring hidden, unspoken expectations and behaviors into the light. It’s a process of letting go of what is inauthentic in relationship. By becoming aware of these truths, you become more of yourself and authentic relating can unfold with ease.

You’ll learn to create agreements with yourself and with your lover to access deeper levels of intimacy and expansiveness. To bring integrity to relating as sacred lovers, it requires clear agreements – which create trust, safety and surrender while maintaining a grounded sense of self. We make commitments to ourselves, first and foremost, from a place of self-love and respect.

From this place, deep spiritual qualities of integrity, gratitude and generosity will unfold with ease as you learn the art of taking – and the art of surrender.

We want you to leave this retreat in an Empowered Partnership!

To do so, you will experience:
໑ An embodied knowing of what it feels like to be safe in your body and safe in relating
໑ Awareness of your boundaries and the tools to be able to express them
໑ Communicating your needs and desires clearly and directly
໑ Feeling confident in your sexual expression and expansion
໑ The ability to address the relational traumatic activation of your nervous system with your partner as an ally
໑ The power of play and finding back to the vulnerability of innocence
໑ Learning to surrender into the unknown of every moment
໑ Dancing and playing with shadows and using this as fuel for transformation
໑ Finding your inner truth beyond relationship imprints and becoming confident in relating however you define it
໑ Recognizing that you are whole and complete unto yourself and, from this place, access deeper levels of intimacy and expansiveness with another
໑ Creating agreements that are based on sovereignty, integrity, respect, trust and goodwill

Integrating this work goes far beyond relating with an intimate partner. It opens up the question of how do we engage with all human beings – family, friends, colleagues, etc. We come from this authentic truth and align our thoughts, words and actions to create agreements in any engagement. These are holistic tools for life.

໑ Consent and Safety ໑

We create a safe container and empower you to make choices about the experience you want to have. You will always have the choice about how deeply you want to engage with any exercise – we hold the container and you choose the pace. It will always be up to the participant to decide their limits and boundaries. Our intention is that every person is able to come back to the truth in their body, to feel into what they want, and to see that they have the power to choose in any given moment.
